For the past five months, Kyri has been relishing as a werewolf. Surveillance with Leo was a lot easier than she thought it would be. Probably because there's been no leads. But when there finally is one, all clues point to someone at the school; a teenager. And not just one, but a group. An entire werewolf hunting cult, who puts everyone she loves in point blank range of Black Silver.

Faced with betrayal, unbelievable truths, actually having to deal with the fact that she's Favored and therefore will have to lead Cerna, and the temper of Alpha wolf and Leo's ex girlfriend Fallon, can Kyri manage to drag herself out of this one alive?

It’s like the Apocalypse had come early. I actually had to lead Cerna now.

Yes, it's true. Destroying Angel Werewolf and Alpha of Cerna, Fallon Wolvesbane, has left Cerna. And therefore focing an unwilling Kyri and a very willing Leo into the empty place she left behind. The pressure of being Alpha isn't an easy one to carry, and Cyrus certainly isnt helping any.

On top of her new title's drama, Glen Ice Angeonet is true to his word; he intends to drag Kyri back to Zeta if it's the last thing he does. And, what if, he actually succeded this time? It comes down to how well Kyri can keep her nerve, and how well Leo and Cy can work together to save the girl they love.

Emotions are running high in Cerna. Nioki was thrown from the pack with her own brand of favoring so she's survive in Zeta prison, and Kyri and Leo are struggling to keep control of a pack in panic. Needless to say, things were bad enough before the Faery Andromeda's stay stirs things up. Pack members are being claimed by the Fae royal left and right, and life altering offers are made.

And it brings up a question that could mean life or death for the Lycanthrope race: Are the Faery friends, or foes?
