Yeah...

Ok, forgive me for being a total blog loser. I know I suck v_v

I just got on because I wanted to muster up a great big two posts this month. Sooooo yep.
Today I'm obsessed with the song The Moment by Safetysuit. It's amazing. Listen to it. Linkage

Nothing much to say. Frozen is coming along brilliantly- it's about 40k right now. I'm aiming for at least 90. At least. I'm looking forward to getting to show off how maniacle Camilla can be.
And I want to write a book about faries now 0-0 Yeah, I know I'm pressing all the popular litterature bases, but I really want to work with the Unseelie court. Sorry, I know I'm an idiot.

Soooo yep. I'm hoping to finish Frozen this summer and get cracking on a new project and Remember. Gonna be awesome =)

So that's it for now ^-^ I'll come up with something more important to say later. But, on the bright side, Darkest Ebony should be on Amazon.com soon ^-^ And I'm finally going to get a backbone and queery.

Ima share my world, just a little

Ok, so I was kind of freaking out last blog. Remember, the whole WHAT AM I GOING TO DO, AHHHHH! That sound familiar? Well, I've chilled out *fistpump* I'll have to edit the format a little, and there were a lot of typos I didn't catch, but since I'm self publishing I've got nothing to worry about :D
So, today, I had fun with my new camera. It's a Canon PowerShot SX130 IS, if that means anything to camera-knowledgeable people out there. It's very professional looking.

Ok, so on to random pictures of random things. That's what blogs are for, right?

Here's my dog being a weirdo.

Ok. So I'm still trying to grasp this... but Darkest Ebony got self published.

Yep. My birthday is on monday, so my parents had it self published for me. I have a copy of my book sitting right in front of me and I can't stop picking it up and messing with it. It's super surreal.

I'm probably sending mixed signals. Am I happy or upset or whatever. The truth is, I'm kind of numb. Like, totally in shock. Like seeing your own grave or something. I really wanted to get it picked up by a real publishing company and go through all that, and self-publishing is a pretty good way to see that you don't get published unless your book does phenomenally well. However, I'm thrilled at the same time. It's absolutely insane to see your book in print sitting next to you.

Yeah, that's DE sitting on my bookshelf. Right next to City of Bones. EEEEP.

Oh, and you might notice that I've actually got relevant pictures on my stuff up. What's up with that?

Well, because I got a camera too. Awesome, isnt it?

And the good news is I know how to work this one. So I'll (hopefully) be putting pictures up more often. You know, pictures I didn't find on the net.

And so, because I'm trying to keep my mind off the fact that my 'natural market' for publishing is hosed and the fact that I'm actually a published author (daunting 0-0) I'm going to put up some random pictures I took today.

Darkest Birthday EVER (Part two)

Ok, part 2!!!! It's going to be a bit shorter than originally planned [ =( ] cause I procrastionate and don't have time with Parent Control's on my laptop, so I'm going to compare and contrast fast.

Kyri Farson, a quiet, inquisitive girl of age 17, took her German shepherd mix out for a walk. That was about when she was attacked by a pack of wolves. After sighting them in her backyard, but before another pack of wolves showed up and all-out battle started around her. Minutes later, the first pack vanishes into the dark… and the remaining pack turns out to be somewhat human, including her crush from school, Leo.

As Kyri adjusts to the world she’s been thrown into, a dark war rolls on the horizon for her new friends.  Somehow, she is caught in the middle and is in danger every second she defies the enemy’s leader.  Worse even, the Alpha of the pack, Leo’s promised mate, has no love lost over Kyri. The days seem to get worse rather than easier.

No one said it was easy being a lycanthrope.

Kyri:... not really. The writing was bad. And the internal dialogued sucked.

Kyri: and the imagery wasn't great. Don't get me started on the grammar.

Leo: What? I didn't say anything.

Nm: I know you didn't, Leo, and I appreciate that.

Kyri: No need to be mean, Fallon

Fallon: No need to be stupid, Angeonet

Cyrus: That was a little out of line

Leo:... that didn't make any sense.

So, Non-existant blog reader peeps, today was a Vampire Diaries day, hence my late blog ;) I was too busy shouting at the screen to blog. But I'm blogging now :D Isnt it wonderful (no one cares, Jordan [didn't ask you opinion, Fallon])

Don't really have anything to say today. Hmm. Um... I hate Jules? I finished Crescendo (Hush, Hush sequal), took some pictures of dead trees, made some covers, sat around and stared at a wall. You know, the usual. I want to write my Fallon book soooooo much. But Kyri's being an attention hog, so I can't yet T-T I'm thinking I might make a Darkest Ebony prequel with Fallon's story too. If so, I'll call it something lame like The Wolf's Bane (Fallon Wolvesbane, get it?) or The Fall of Falloness McCormic, Alpha Dog (Since the epiquil is From the Journals of Fallon Wolvesbane, (and, well, the rest of them). [If you haven't read the books or just don't care, Fallon's birthname was Falloness McCormic. Then she went totally emancipated bad@$$ and changed her name]  Dunno if I'll actually write it publically though. Hmm.

I need a picture or two, so here's one.

Oh, right, blogging. There. Now it looks like this is a real blog rather than insane rambling. So yeah.

Ok, if you're reading this for news on the animated trailer, don't get excited. The animation's were so crappy I'm redoing most of it. And adding a lot more Fallon, because I'm totally bias ;) It's good to be the writer.

I'm jealous of Andy Starr, and she's not even real. She's been on Vampire Diaries for ONE DAY and already she's Damon's new girlfriend. It sucks to be a real person and not a TVD character. They get to be within 40 feet of Damon.

OH, and I've been working hard at character sketches. Of my werewolf character in wolf form of course, since my people-drawing skills are super crappy. I'm going to upload them on my deviantart soon and then blog them at you guys. 'Cause Ima showoff.

“Waiting for someone, Edge?” I asked, sauntering into sight. He turned to look at me with a lack of surprise on his face; he would’ve known I was coming. The only question was when.

He rose from Fred’s tombstone, and I gave him an irritated look. Hassling poor Fred just to keep me from avoiding him was getting rather annoying. “Camilla,” he greeted me stiffly.

I made a low irritated sound, putting my hands on my hips. “What do you want?”

A slow, tired smile came across his face. “I want you to give me another chance.” His reply took me by surprise; I didn’t realize he was moving until he was right in front of me. He looked down at me with level, fathomless black eyes and I looked unflinchingly into his gaze.

“No,” I said, no hint of reluctance in my voice. I smirked, a quick twist of my lips, and moved around him.

Fortunately, Edge wasn't one of those guys who slinks off to sulk until he reclaimed enough of his ego to try again. “Why did Ramon find Raines’s body at the bottom of the river?” he asked, almost casually.

I stopped, throwing him a look over my shoulder. “I thought that was obvious; I killed him.”

Yeah, short/lame excerpt, I know. But I was lazy today. Making book covers ;) Anyways, I'll try to blog more often. I've been a lazy bum. But hey, this is the last Frozen Excerpt, I think. You'll be able to read the actual thing on Inkpop on the 13th :D Mah Inkivercery.

Oh, if you care, get ready for a party peeps. Darkest Ebony's birthday is on the 12th *teary eyed* My projects grown so much since then. It's gramatically corect now, and Kyri's less of a wuss. So, so proud eeeeehh!!!

I'm feeling pessimistic

Not doing a real blog today. I'm too angry at the world, so I'm venting at the blog no one will listen to. At least this way I can pretend someone will read it.

Aunt and Uncle came over today. Parents made me out to be 'kid who's been on the computer all day". I was on the computer for an hour. After I took a shower, cleaned my room until it was spotless without being prompted, and talked to my sister for a good two hours. But I'm the kid who has to be glued to the computer. Then they made me out to be "Bad, moody teenager," which I hate. So. freaking. much. So I'm up in my room while they talk about me like I'm a little kid and dismiss me from conversation because I can't possibly understand anything.

Sorry. If you're reading this, it's obviously not because you want to hear me vent. So I'll try to come up with something useful to say.

... Ok, I think I got it. I'm going to write now. Still love mah Damon homie.

OH, YEAH, AND I'M FINALLY ANIMATING MY DE TRAILER!!!
Yes, I am!!! It's coming pretty well so far. It's why I didn't re-blog yesterday; because I spent twelve hours starting my animation. Well, kind of; I spent five hours starting it, forgot to save, the computer dumped me, then I spent 7 hours re-doing it. So now I'm 60 something slides in :D Some of it is crappy, but some of it's coming along pretty well. I hope to finish it soon. Then I'll upload it on YoTube, hopefully.

Yeah, I know it sucks. Bad. But the actual video should hopefully be a lot better than what's above. Because I did that one in literally less than a minute as opposed to twenty, ignored anatomy, didn't use my tablet or the fancy program that makes everything look better, and got fed up with the grass after about two seconds. Just wanted to show the vauge style; I'm not a very good animator though, and this is my first ever time using a tabled ^-^'' bear with me people.

 So yay, something to be happy about! I'd be working on it now if my mom didn't kick me off because "i've been on the computer all day". Great, that's going to ruin the rest of my day now.

So, I'm supposed to be writing Frozen now, but if I don't get some one-on-four time with Fallon, Kyri, Leo, and Cyrus I'm going to go beserk and possibly break down and cry. So.... pretty much loafed around today. Had an emotion brokedown and cried for no apparent reason. Got over it. Ate a cupcake. You know, the usual. I think I might be minimally bipolar. Wouldn't surprise me.

Today is Izzy's birthday :D She just turned 3. I remember when she was a little baby dog. She screamed whenever anyone picked her up. Now she just yells at me when I hug her XD
We took her to PetSmart so she could pick out her present. She sat on me and almost ate this lady's little rat dog. 

Oh, and that was after we watched some guy drive straight down the street and crash head on into another car. He was texting, I think XD They were both fine. But the lady was kind of angry; she tried to break into his car and started kicking it. Poor Woman with her dented red car and anger issues.

And when I got home I watched Mortal Kombat. It's a totally ninja movie from 1995 if you haven't heard/seen it. And yes, I know I spelled Kombat with a K. That's how the movie spells it 0_o
The god dude with lightning eyes creeped me out a bunch of times. And I made fun of the ending for like 20 minutes after it ended. My family is watching Anastasia now. I want to see it, but I don't have time right now T_T XD I'll just watch it during World History tomorrow.

Oh, right. I said I was going to go prematurely gray, didn't I? Yeah, as it turns out, ABNA starts tomorrow. I'm going to pull my hair out from suspense, if it doesnt go gray first. Which sucks, because I'm only 14. So I'm going to enter tomorrow and crash n' fail. Awesome, isn't it?

Oh (again), and before I end my blog I read Falling by Daediel today. It was AWESOME. You need to read it NOW. It's about werewolves. But it doesn't focus on the werewolves. It's hard to explain. Just. Go. Read. It. (The title is a link, bwt)

Anyways, I got bored and didn't feel like editing. So I convinced my sister to get some footage of me feeding my dog an apple. Then I made a video out of it and, for reasons unknown, put it on my YouTube account 0_0. If you want to see it, click here.

So... I should be editing. But I'm Lazy. Darkest Ebony is a beast of a manuscript -_- I almost wish I'd left it at 60k rather than 110k.  Then I'd be done editing now and I could actually write Frozen. Which would be nice, because Camilla and Ian and Edge aren't getting enough attention. Not to mention Atearu and Kendon and Antigora (Survivor) and Pierce and Morgan and Charlotte/Gwendolyn (Starski) and Kodiak and Seth and Anita (Deadly Design) and Elegance... yeah, you get the point.

And on top of that, I might start a project about Selkies. Interesting little devils ;)

Anyways, since I am afterall supposed to be editing, I must go now. But first, I have to tell you about this cool Inkpop book I read about *checks invisible watch* ten minutes ago. It's called For the love of Sam and Eva by Scarlet Dawn. If you haven't read it, give it a look ;) I think, from what I've read so far, it might just be worth the time.

Why 'Ima just be dead now' is 'cause editing is keeling me. Literally. I've edited.... about 5,000 words today. And I feel like flopping on the floor and dying. Or maybe just taking a nice long nap :D Both sound charming at the moment.

The magic of my (n)Ice Day melted and I had to go back to school. Which stunk. Best friend made fun of me in front of a bunch of kids and now half my bus thinks I'm mentally retarted. Go figure. And I had Spanish and I'm supposed to be studying for midterm. But I probably won't, so I might fail. That would stink.

But, Ima think on the bright side :D The Amazon Breakthough Novel Award is only 4 days away (way to be 'bright', Jordan. You're going to miss all our deadlines [shut up Fallon]) and I'm (mildly *sigh*) close to being done editing! For the last time! Yay!!!!!!!! I made a new DE cover too :D I luvvles this one soooooo much. See the full moon thingy in the E? I'm so proud ;)
