I'm a bad girl

I forgot to Thursday excerpt yesterday T-T Sorry

Deadly Design
He walked up the steps and kicked the door a few times. I realized too late that it was a variation of knocking. “Put me down,” I demanded.
“Look injured,” he shot back.
The door opened, and Andrea froze. “Hol-”
“You and your sister have a very similar vocabulary,” he interrupted, stepping over the threshold. “Were do you want her?”
“I’m not an object,” I piqued, flushing. “Just put me down or I swear I’ll break your nose.”
“Charming,” he said at me dismissively.
“Er, uh, the couch,” Andrea said, fumbling for words and following Seth as he brushed past her, down the hall, and into the living room. “What happened?”
“Anita saw some very, very scary wolves and panicked. She twisted her ankle and fell while running; they didn’t chase her.”
Andrea was watching him with obvious distrust. “And why are you here?”
He didn’t look over at her, instead setting me down and keeping his eyes fixed on mine as if trying to convey something important. I was still out of the loop; wolves? As in plural? Had I somehow missed one? Or more? Ugh, I had a headache to go along with my “twisted ankle”. “I found her,” he replied simply.
“And how did you find her?” Andrea questioned, eyes narrowed.
This time he did glance over. “What, Anita hasn’t told you? I’m stalking her.”
For a second, Andrea looked so flustered I wanted to laugh. Then her face pinched and she scowled at him. “Do you think this is funny?”
He put on an obvious look of mock horror. “No, of course not. It’s never funny when Milady gets hurt.” I gave him a wicked scowl.
Andrea looked equally as angry. “Get out of my house!” she snapped, pointing toward the door. Her eyes were narrowed, and for a second she looked scarier than the wolf. Seth raised his hands in surrender, winked at me, and strode calmly toward the door. I was a little surprised that Andrea didn’t throw anything at him on the way out. Maybe she was afraid it would prompt him to stay longer. The door clicked shut after him.
She wheeled around toward me, looking a little less angry and a little more bemused. “Is he always so…” she trailed off, jerking her thumb over her shoulder to the place he’d just vanished.
“Annoying? Cocky? Open?”
She arched one eyebrow. “I was going to say sexy, but that works too.”
I resisted the urge to beat my head in with a book. But only just barely.

LMAO

Song of the day: Set fire to the third bar- Snow patrol. This song TOTALLY makes me think of Shiver by Maggie Steifvater.

Quote of the day: "Nice is overrated~" Mason Lockwood
"That's what I think!!!!!" ~ Damon Salvatore <3 (LMAO. Nice, Damon)

Thoughts: DAAAAAAAAAAMON <3, mah homie, looking good as always ;) Can't believe the stupid  [censor] attacked you though.

What I should be doing right now: Writing Frozen *checks watch* I've got until the night of the 12th to write 2k. Sounds easy, but Camilla's being a PAIN.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, Non-existant blog reader peeps, today was a Vampire Diaries day, hence my late blog ;) I was too busy shouting at the screen to blog. But I'm blogging now :D Isnt it wonderful (no one cares, Jordan [didn't ask you opinion, Fallon])
Don't really have anything to say today. Hmm. Um... I hate Jules? I finished Crescendo (Hush, Hush sequal), took some pictures of dead trees, made some covers, sat around and stared at a wall. You know, the usual. I want to write my Fallon book soooooo much. But Kyri's being an attention hog, so I can't yet T-T I'm thinking I might make a Darkest Ebony prequel with Fallon's story too. If so, I'll call it something lame like The Wolf's Bane (Fallon Wolvesbane, get it?) or The Fall of Falloness McCormic, Alpha Dog (Since the epiquil is From the Journals of Fallon Wolvesbane, (and, well, the rest of them). [If you haven't read the books or just don't care, Fallon's birthname was Falloness McCormic. Then she went totally emancipated bad@$$ and changed her name]  Dunno if I'll actually write it publically though. Hmm.
I need a picture or two, so here's one.
*sighs*
Oh, right, blogging. There. Now it looks like this is a real blog rather than insane rambling. So yeah.
Ok, if you're reading this for news on the animated trailer, don't get excited. The animation's were so crappy I'm redoing most of it. And adding a lot more Fallon, because I'm totally bias ;) It's good to be the writer.
I'm jealous of Andy Starr, and she's not even real. She's been on Vampire Diaries for ONE DAY and already she's Damon's new girlfriend. It sucks to be a real person and not a TVD character. They get to be within 40 feet of Damon.
OH, and I've been working hard at character sketches. Of my werewolf character in wolf form of course, since my people-drawing skills are super crappy. I'm going to upload them on my deviantart soon and then blog them at you guys. 'Cause Ima showoff.
Oh, speaking of showing off, today is a Thursday ;) Thursday excerpt AND new Frozen cover.
^ See?
Burning in the sunlight. Totally authentic vamps.
~Frozen~
“Waiting for someone, Edge?” I asked, sauntering into sight. He turned to look at me with a lack of surprise on his face; he would’ve known I was coming. The only question was when.
He rose from Fred’s tombstone, and I gave him an irritated look. Hassling poor Fred just to keep me from avoiding him was getting rather annoying. “Camilla,” he greeted me stiffly.
I made a low irritated sound, putting my hands on my hips. “What do you want?”
A slow, tired smile came across his face. “I want you to give me another chance.” His reply took me by surprise; I didn’t realize he was moving until he was right in front of me. He looked down at me with level, fathomless black eyes and I looked unflinchingly into his gaze.
“No,” I said, no hint of reluctance in my voice. I smirked, a quick twist of my lips, and moved around him.
Fortunately, Edge wasn't one of those guys who slinks off to sulk until he reclaimed enough of his ego to try again. “Why did Ramon find Raines’s body at the bottom of the river?” he asked, almost casually.
I stopped, throwing him a look over my shoulder. “I thought that was obvious; I killed him.”
Yeah, short/lame excerpt, I know. But I was lazy today. Making book covers ;) Anyways, I'll try to blog more often. I've been a lazy bum. But hey, this is the last Frozen Excerpt, I think. You'll be able to read the actual thing on Inkpop on the 13th :D Mah Inkivercery.
Oh, if you care, get ready for a party peeps. Darkest Ebony's birthday is on the 12th *teary eyed* My projects grown so much since then. It's gramatically corect now, and Kyri's less of a wuss. So, so proud eeeeehh!!!
Oh, right, no one cares. Anyways, Peace, Love, and Vampire Diaries everyone!!!!
Super-quick-blog
Ok, sorry I'm being so bad about blogging lately. I'm sick today though, and I really don't feel like doing a complete blog ^-^'' plus TVD comes on in 20 minutes (from the time I'm writing this, at least)
Song of the day: DLZ-TV on the Radio
If it sounds familiar, it's because it was the final song on the TVD Episode 2x12 episode. You know, the one where Damon went totally crackers? We still luff him though; just because he had an emotional breakdown and talked of extrocentral (SP) crisis we're still smitten. Well, normal people are. If you're not, go get smitten. I command you! *stomps foot*
Is it wrong that I wish I could be Elena here? ^ Yeah, probably since Elena's a whiny B!tch, but whatever. She's a lucky one.
Erm, Delena video of the day: Our time now
Oh, and this is the other song of the day.
And today is an excerpt thursday :D So ima post one about Remember... crap, I didn't announce remember, did I? I'll announce it next time, with my two awesome new covers too ;) So... Remember excerpt!!!!
~Remember~
Frantic, I picked up the first chain cuffs and locked them around my ankles. In the next room over, Zepar’s screams rose into the air. I knew Dr. Reese would be gone by now. She was usually out the door before M locked himself in. Every day, she claimed it was late and she must be getting home. But we all knew the truth; the screams scared her just as much as they scared me.
In a hurry, I locked on the manacles and threw the collar around my neck. I crouched down, pulling my shoes off and throwing them as far out of reach as I could get them. Already, my skin was starting to shiver. It knew what was coming as well as I did.
Finally, the moonlight came through the hole in the ceiling. My skin jerked under its touch, something stirring under the skin. A violent scream was wrenched from my body, and I threw my head up so I could see the mirror.
Already my pale face was contorted in pain, and my fingernails came up without my command to claw at the skin on my neck. My body was in spasms, skin tearing and red flesh showing through. It was burning away in the inferno of the demon, and soon my other face showed. My skin was the crimson as blood. It stayed that way, bloody, for a few moments, and then started to drain completely of color until I was white as a sheet. When I smiled, my teeth were pointed.
My legs and torso lengthened just a little, giving me an extra few inches, and my nails grew long and sharp. The sound of my screaming had died away in my ears, but chances were it hadn’t stopped. I couldn’t focus on sound. It was like I’d gone deaf. Maybe I had.
There was that tugging sensation at my back, and I turned my head to see the intricate bones emerging from my back. They found the narrow slices in my shirt, spreading out behind me in a skeletal fashion. The white tips arched high above my head, stretching, and flesh started to stretch over the delicate framework that was attached to my back. Then the sleek, black feathers came in, leaving the huge dark wings to fold against my back.
Very slowly, unwilling to see my new face, I turned and looked at the mirror. My lips were a vivid scarlet, and beyond them my teeth glittered an unnatural, shining white. My eyelashes elongated, giving my face an inhuman look that was equally terrifying than beautiful. No, not beautiful.
Because what I was wasn't beautiful.
It was demon-esque.
Mi Amore and Inkpop Idenitity Hijinks
Song of the day: Jesse's Girl
Quote of the day: "I liked it better when you hated everyone~" Stefan Salvatore
"I still do. I just loooooove that they loooooove me." ~ Damon Salvatore <3 (Trust me, we do love him)
Thoughts: DAMON, IDENTITY FRAUD, DAAAAAAAAAAMON <3
What I should be doing right now: Um.... making cookies. I want a cookie. Yes ^-^
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

So, If you've inkpopped today, you'd know there's been a (scary/hilarious) glitch on Inkpop where we end up logged on as each other. It was sooooooo funny. But it was scary too. I wanted to spend at least 2 minutes as The Donut, Autumn, Zoey, Lexie, Kelly, or someone of the like. I didn't get to. I was so terribly disapointed I got stuck being me. But I got to be RetroPlaid for a second (that was cool) and hey, it's pretty good to be me today.

Why, you ask. Well, I have a bunch of reasons.
~I finally entered ABNA. Granted, I'm probably going to become nerotic, but whatever.

~DAMON, mi amore, comes back on TV(D) tonight. I think I'm going to faint now *procedes to faint*

(Damn it all. If Elena doesn't want him, I do. {I concur} )

...

Oh, right, I'm in the middle of a blog. Pike down,  Fallon.  Anyways, Damon comes back tonight. Enough to make anyones life awesome, no?

~It's a snow day here. Five inches baby, five. Inches. Awesome, isnt it? I took pictures, but I haven't uploaded them yet so I'll post them.. later XD

~Four days until Paradox and Night Child (My two favorite inkpop books EVER) Go through the top five. I think I'm going to explode just because of the sheer awesomeness.

~That's all.

~Oh, wait, I forgot to say Damon again. There. My day just got awesomer.

So... still no word on the new blog, if that's why you're reading. We're working things out this weekend :D So yep.

Damon/Elena videos of the day (which I might start adding at the top ;)
Tell me, would you kill Jesse's girl
...
LOL, They're two different songs. But I got you there, didn't I? No. Ahh, too bad. Anyways, blog over and out...

OH WAIT, IT'S THURSDAY!!!!! So....

~Frozen Excerpt~

The instant he saw me, relief shone in his eyes. “Camilla, thank goodness.”
Raines had recently turned a new fledgling. She must be his. Aww hell.
He rambled on, looking relieved. “You’ll explain to them, won’t you? You’ll explain that she didn’t actually mean to kill them. You’ll convince them to let her live?”
I frowned, my eyes turning to the girl. “No can do, Raines. I’m sorry.”
Instantly, his jaw popped open. I wasn't here to save his girl; I was the executioner. “Camilla, please.”
“There’s nothing I can do,” I told him, moving in sleek predatory steps toward her. Her eyes, a light brown, stared back at me in confusion. I gave her a reassuring smile; I was old enough that, whether she’d want to or not, she’d instantly trust me. I was the third in command; it was my job to protect her.
Until she failed me.
My hands came up around her neck, my thumbs brushing her jawline. For a moment, her eyes widened in confusion. Raines was still begging in the back ground. I turned her head sharply.
With a single, pure sound, her neck snapped. Vampires were stronger than most people, but another vampire was strong enough to kill them in mortal ways. Her lifeless body crumpled in my arms, and Raines gave a loud, broken sound, brushing past me to pick her up. He cradled the limp body in his arms, not seeming to notice the blood smeared across her lips.
Then, with glassy eyed with tears he couldn’t shed, he looked up at me and mouthed ‘why?’
My heart ached; I could feel his pain. It emanated off him in waves that slicked over my skin and ripped through me to the core. Damn it, I should’ve sent him out of here.
Maybe it was the pain that made all the rational thought in my head vanish. I took a step forward, crouching in front of him. “Listen to me!” I snapped. “Love doesn’t last. It doesn’t. This is for you own good.”
He wouldn’t meet my gaze, instead staring down at the dead girl in his arms. “You’re wrong.”
I stood, face expressionless, and looked down at the two of them. Because this was what I did. I killed people, no matter how hard I tried. Because it was what I’d been designed for.
Because, in the scheme of things, the heroine wasn't my role. There would be no great change for me, no matter what I did.
I was Edge’s monster.
Nothing more.

So yeah. Frozen goes on Inkpop Feb. 13th, if you're interested ;) It happens to be my Inkpop aniversary too! Anyways, Peace, Love (Damon), and Vampire Diaries peeps!!!!

I hate today =P

So, since I have work to get done, I'm not completing this blog post the way I intended to. The quote of the day (you know, since it's totally perfect for today) is "If my doctor told me I had only six minutes to live, I wouldn't brood. I'd type a little faster." ~Isaac Asimov. Wonderful quote, Isaac. I'd like to say I'd do the same.

Ok, so I had a doctor's appointment. They shoved metal tubes with cameras up my nose and took turns looking at my sinus cavilaries. Don't get me wrong, they're great doctors and they're really helping me, but I'm totally a lab rat for them. They bring in every single trainee to take a look at me and put me on a billion new drugs and take tissue samples to disect. So yeah, not a good day. And then I had to spend two hours working on spanish with a crappy translator. >_<

Anyways, I'm not letting it ruin my first Thursday Excerpt. So you can stop listening to me complain now (if anyone's even following...)

~Frozen Excerpt~
A flicker of motion caught the corner of my eye. Three big, burly guys were holding a slimmer guy to the wall. “Alright, Casey, listen up. If you don’t come back to Mr. Fowler soon, bad things are going to happen.”
One of the guys had pulled his fist out and looked like he intended to give his prisoner a punch to the face. I wasn't fond of bullies. Bullying was a sign of insecurity.
It appeared it was time for me to make some people feel insecure.
In a heartbeat, I was across the street and in the alley beside the bar. One of the guys had enough time to look up before I kneed him in the gut. He flew back and hit a wall, then fell to the ground with a stunned looking expression. I turned on the other two, resisting the urge to crack my knuckles. The remaining two turned to look at me with wide eyes. “Wha-”
Within the span of a heartbeat, I crouched. I didn’t need to, but I could get a lot more power with a spring start. Then I pushed off the ground, flying at him and tackling him to the ground. The instant his head cracked against the pavement, I turned on the remaining guy. Eyes wide open, he turned and scrambled out of the alley. I rose and stepped away from the guy who’d been my second victim.
Now, to deal with the guy who’d seen too much. When I turned around, he was staring at me with wide, average brown eyes that matched his hair. “Wow.”
“Yeah, yeah, whatever.”
“What?” he asked with a shrug, looking a little too calm for comfort. Then he grinned at me. “It’s not every day that the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen saves my life.”
Saved his life, eh? All it looked like was I’d saved his face. “I don’t like flattery.”
He arched one eyebrow. “Well, that’s a first.”
“So,” I said, giving him a good look up and down and choosing not to respond to his statement. “Your name’s Casey?”
He threw me a grin. “Nope. Ian Casey.”

The name isn't supposed to mean anything to you yet, just in case you were wondering. Whoever you happen to be.... Anyways, if you read, thanks for reading! Until next Thursday :D (Which is the day TVD comes back. YAY!)

Ima just be dead now, kay?

Song of the day: Like a g6- I dunno who sings it. Actually, I'm kind of suprised it's my song of the day. Not my usual kind of thing, you know?

Quote of the day: "It is impossible to discourage the real writers - They don't give a damn what you say, they're going to write." ~Sinclair Lewis

Thoughts: Must use the right form of there in the future. It's a pain in the butt to edit. I'll have to get some work today... well, after I blog. But before I die, for sure.

What I should be doing right now: Editing chapta' 13. I likeh this one. I was beating up on Kyri and she spent the hole thing in the hospital. Which shouldn't amuse me, but Kyri needed some abuse. She was being WHINY and LAME LIKE ELENA D:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Why 'Ima just be dead now' is 'cause editing is keeling me. Literally. I've edited.... about 5,000 words today. And I feel like flopping on the floor and dying. Or maybe just taking a nice long nap :D Both sound charming at the moment.
The magic of my (n)Ice Day melted and I had to go back to school. Which stunk. Best friend made fun of me in front of a bunch of kids and now half my bus thinks I'm mentally retarted. Go figure. And I had Spanish and I'm supposed to be studying for midterm. But I probably won't, so I might fail. That would stink.
But, Ima think on the bright side :D The Amazon Breakthough Novel Award is only 4 days away (way to be 'bright', Jordan. You're going to miss all our deadlines [shut up Fallon]) and I'm (mildly *sigh*) close to being done editing! For the last time! Yay!!!!!!!! I made a new DE cover too :D I luvvles this one soooooo much. See the full moon thingy in the E? I'm so proud ;)
So yes. I'm proud :D Oh, and I made a couple of new covers for Frozen too.
If you like one of these the best ^ , feel free to tell me in a comment (or not, that's super too).
Anyways, I thought I'd post an excerpt today. You know, thought it would be cool. Then I remembered that I didn't write anything today, so I changed my mind. Instead, I shall post an excerpt tomorrow! And, quite possibly, start posting them every Thursday. You know, since Thursdays are good days (Damon days too!!!) so yep. Expect one from Frozen tomorrow ;)
That's all I have to say. TTFN and Happy writing everyone!
