Books you all need to read.

Forgive me, my imaginary blog readers, for being tardy to the party once again. I'm very spacy. For about a week I forgot I had a blog. Then I was reading Evie J's blog (If you don't know who Evie J is, splash yourself over the head with water and then come back) and I realized I hadn't updated mine in almost a month. I'm that pathetic. Yeah, sad, ain't it?

Schmokeydoke. I'm on a caffine rush, so forgive the imaginarywords and try to focus, Kay? I'm here to scream to the world a few books that need attention. Looking for a read? Happy birthday!

BOOK 1: FEED- Mira Grant
(Newsflesh trillogy)

This book, in short, is about Blogger-reporters following a presidential campeign and zombies. In short; the book that made me cry and kicked my writing style to the curb. Even after I got over the book itself, I moped in self pity for two days because I could spend a decade and not be half as good as this chick. So do me a favor? READ IT. Or I'll cry AGAIN.

George is the best main character ever, and the second book, Deadline, just came out. As soon as I get a job and, you know, make money I'm going to buy it. My mom cut me off because I've been buying books like they're going out of style. But, as we all know, books never go out of style.
Sorry. Getting off topic. Just read it, please.

Once again, it's Feed by Mira Grant. You know you want it.

BOOK 2: MOON CALLED- Patricia Briggs
(Mercedes Thompson series)

Have any of you, my fellow writers, ever picked up a book and thought "I'd sell my soul to have written this?" For me, this is that book. Forget the sketchy looking cover- this book is liquid gold. I love Mercy to death. She's the most Kick-ass MC ever, and Adam is... jeez, I don't even know how to describe Adam. I'm going to go with amazing.
Oh, I forgot to tell you what it's about. Werewolves going public. Very smexy werewolves. And werecoyotes. I've read this book about three times and laughed my tail off every time (ever wondered why I don't have a tail? That's why). Pure. Awesome. Possibly the best book ever.

What are you waiting for?

BOOK 3: NIGHTSHADE- Andrea Cremer
(Nightshade series)

Ok, to be honest, this one doesn't match up to Feed and Moon Called, but it is an amazing book that doesn't get enough attention. It's about werewolves. Again. What do you expect from The Lycanthrope? I'm obsessed. It's my job.
Anyways, it's great. Calla is an amazing MC, and she deserves better than backburner. So, if you need a sharp read, NightShade's a good one =D

Ok, becaues I'm in love with it, I'm putting the new cover. I want to steal it. I mean, the original is amazing --> but the new one rocks my socks off. So I'm posting it too. I want to hire Andrea's cover maker. And maybe steal her too. I'm creepy like that.

Anyways, read it. I love all the characters and their dynamics. The next book, Wolfsbane, comes out on July 26th, I think. So it's a good time to add it to your read list.

So that's it for now.
But I'm coming back to Inkpop soon =D
And I'll try to be interesting again.
I know I'm boring anyone reading to tears.
so Ima leave now.
...
Oh, wait I forgot
I'm now in love with Panic! at the disco.
Sorry, forgot to mention it.
Listen to their album "A fever you can't sweat out"
It's majorly impacting poor Anita's life.
Ok, you can go now.

Laters, gaters.
Peace, Love, and Vampire Diaries

Please forgive me for sucking.

SONGS of the month (I've missed a bunch)

Call me- Shinedown
Hey ya- Outkast
Begging on your knees- Victoria Justice (Yeah, I know, for shame)
Howlin' for you- The Black Keys
The only difference between maryterism and suicide is media coverage/ Hurricane- Panic! at the Disco
Mr Winter- The Maine

And a lot more... yeah

Yeah, it's been a while since I've blogged.
Please forgive me for sucking. I know, I'm really awful.
On the offchance that you're wondering why I'm not Inkpop, it's because I've broken free. Don't get me wrong; I love Inkpop to death. But I finally slipped out and realized I didn't have to get on Inkpop that exact moment. For over a year I spent two hours on it a day. I wasn't getting anything done even working round the clock.
Sooooo I didn't come back yet. I'm going to wait a while; see if I can't finish another book (though I did finish Deadly Design, by the way. 92,856 words. It needs a little cleaning up, but the first draft is in and the sequel, Sweet Corruption, is 21, 563 so far. See? I do get more work done off Inkpop. I wish it weren't true.

So... what have I been doing? Apart from writing my butt off, not much. I went camping in New River Gorge a while ago...

This is Izzy eating on the table because the rocks hurt her feet.

New River valley. It came out pretty flat in the picture, but it was really incredible.

This is my totally spoiled dog eating icecream

She wanted to ride shotgun and ended up in the back with my brother XD

I have no idea who NP and JK are, but I thought it was sweet.
And that it would make a totally awesome book cover.

I was standing right under New River gorge bridge.
The largest single arch bridge in the southern US
It was SCARY. I thought it was going to fall on me.

My mom, grandma, and cousin cussing out all the steps.

Super ninja awesome waterfall

The bridge from a slightly greater distance

HAHAHA
IT SAYS SALVATORE!!!!!!!!
AS IN DAMON!
Yeah, you get the point.

And a picture of trees out of the moving car.
Amazing, no? XD

That's all I've got for now; I have more pictures, but I haven't sorted through them and I don't have the time at the moment ;(

While I was gone, since I'm pretending to be productive, I've also snuck my way into the advanced program (with a scary meeting) and the Star program (with a scary awards ceremony where I almost fell on my face in front of several hundred people and a professional photographer who was taking so many pictures he probably could've caught a picture of the blood as it squirted out of my broken nose). And I slept alot. Yeah.

Ok, I'll upload more later (if anyones still reading *wince*) if you need to drop me a message, leave a comment and I'll probably reply >.<

Hopefully I'll be back on Inkpop and the blog soon. If you're still reading, thanks =D

I was being creepy again...

Ok, so this blog is pretty much just another picture dump. With commentary, because I actually did a few intersting things recently.
The last time I blogged was the day before my birthday. Well, on my actual birthday I got a hamster. Totally not planned. I walked in intending to buy bunny food and ended up coming home with two hamsters. One of them is my sisters, but the other one, Jace, is mine. Isn't she adorable?
She looks kind of like a stuffed animal in that one though XD

She doesn't particularly like me very much yet, but we're working on that.

And my sister's hamster, Max...

It's not a very clear picture, but that's really how she looks most of the time.
She likes eating. A lot.

Including houses.

And Bree, my sister's hamster.
For the record, if you were thinking it, she's not fat.
She's a bear hamster. A really, really big bear hamster.

All her pictures come out blurry because she never stops moving.
Ever.

She really likes Cheetos.
They're the best you can get for special occasions.
Except for Pork Roast and pancakes. Mmmm.
Yes, if you didn't know, hamsters are obnivores. They do, indeed, eat meat if you let them.
They really, really love Bacon.

And here's my other dog, Leah. I have no idea how, but I haven't put any pictures of her up yet.

First creepy thing I did this week: Took pictures of creepy fish.
I thought their little devillike red eyes were cool, so I took a picture.

On the fifth, I went and got the two books I've been dying to read.
Where she went- Gayle Forman
CITY OF FALLEN ANGELS- Cassandra Clare
CoFA was in caps because I've been really, really hyper about that one.
Trust me, it lived up to the hype I created. A-MAZ-ING

Ok, so you might've heard that Maggie Steifvater was in Fredricksburg last Thursday for a dinner and book signing. I live about an hour away, so I jumped on the chance and went. To sum it up, it was pretty cool.

This was on the drive down.
The cool thing about this photo?
I took it out of the closed car window. While the car was moving at about 30 MPH.
It came out pretty clear, didn't it?

That one too.

Second creepy thing I did this weekend: Took pictures of a cemetary...

Ok, yeah, taking pictures of a cemetary is creepy, but it's a really cool cemetary.
I love the gate and the tree.
I was sitting in the drive-through line for McDonalds and saw it.
But right after I took the picture I started being a hypocrite.
Someone had fake dead body parts in the grill of their jeep and I called it creepy.
So yeah...

When I found out about the event, the dinner tickets were sold out, so I ate on the way.
Only to get there and find out they had a bunch of extra dinners and were giving it them to the people who didn't order dinner tickets.
So I'd already eaten, but they had cake.... and I really like cake.

My copy of Shiver and the really good cake.

So, after the dinner Maggie gave a really, really cool speach. It was hilarious >.< XD Then she did a book signing.
And wait, here's the cool part...
She took photographs with the fans 0-0
I got my picture taken with Maggie Steifvater.
It was freaking awesome.

Only, unfortuantely, I'm not allowed to put the pictures up because I'm not allowed to put pictures of myself up without my mom's concent and she isn't home =P Drat.
But I do have more pictures.

Third creepy thing I did... I took pictures of her reserved parking sign.

Yeeeeah, I kind of stalked her while she was there. I waited in line twice to get both Shiver and Linger signed. And then went and took pictures of the sign. I was going to take some pictures of her car too, but her actual car broke down so it was a rental.
The rental wasn't quite as cool as Loki.

My copy of Shiver.
Signed my Maggie.
And adressed to me.
*Screams for a little while*

And while I'm at it, my signed copy of Linger.

Ok, so I didn't really do anything else cool, but...

I opened a pickle jar. All by myself.
No hammer included ;) XD

This is my bunny, Loppy lugs.
He's just kind of eating some bread.
And being a bunny.
Might I add a very cute bunny XD

Random picture, but I like the shadow effect.

These are my favorite sneakers.
You might have noticed they don't match.
Apparently that was on purpose.

I have acomplished what my mom deems to be an impossible feat.
I got a picture of my dog looking straight at the camera.
and while lying under a deck chair.
She looks kind of nervous though.

Cool picture of the tree in my back yard and the sun.

Random squirrel.
I love squirrels.
When the squirrelpocalypse comes around, they're going to spare me.
Because I'm going to be a squirrel photographer XD

And that's me. Kind of.
It's actually my reflection.
And Izzy. ^-^

So that it. For now at least. And now... I'm off to write Frozen. Laters, peeps.

Ima share my world, just a little

Ok, so I was kind of freaking out last blog. Remember, the whole WHAT AM I GOING TO DO, AHHHHH! That sound familiar? Well, I've chilled out *fistpump* I'll have to edit the format a little, and there were a lot of typos I didn't catch, but since I'm self publishing I've got nothing to worry about :D
So, today, I had fun with my new camera. It's a Canon PowerShot SX130 IS, if that means anything to camera-knowledgeable people out there. It's very professional looking.

Ok, so on to random pictures of random things. That's what blogs are for, right?

Here's my dog being a weirdo.
I think my brother had a brownie.
Hence her staring.

Guess where my brother was standing.

My dog wouldn't look at the camera.
So I went and found the fish.
They ran away at first, then came back to get their pictures taken.
The big orange fish is Yoda, and the little one is still unnamed.

Here's the tree in my front yard. Pretty, no?

And here's the flowery tree thing in my sideyard

And a dandylion. The shoes are my sisters, btw. I thought the picture would come out cool that way.

There's Kyle with Darkest Ebony. They're friends already :D
In the background is my good friend Mr. iPod and Chuck.
Chuck is my alarmclock.
I threw him at the wall once and for three days he was dead.
On the fourth day he kept beeping.
Then I took his batteries out XD

The back cover of DE. It took about ten minutes to do, but I think it looks nice 8D

LOOK!!!
ISBN number.
It's on private right now, but soon if I look it up on Amazon.com it will come up.
Too cool.

I went to Borders today and bought a couple of books I'd been dying to get copies of.
(In order from top to bottom)
If I stay- Gayle Forman
Paranormalcy- Kiersten White
NightShade- Andrea Cremer

If you haven't red these books, I strongly reccomend them.

And, last but not least... *drumroll*

My laptop, Eva.
I've written ALL my books on it. I don't know what I'd do without her.

So that's it for now. I'll probably post more pictures tomorrow, if I feel like it. Definitely more on Tuesday :D If I'm not too busy reading CoFA to put pictures of it up, of course.

Peace, Love, and Vampire Diaries peeps!!!
